Jen Beattie has had an enviable career – and is still going strong. She broke into the Queen’s Park team as a 15-year-old; she made 143 appearances for Scotland; she has won league titles with Manchester City and Arsenal; and she has made her mark around the world, playing in Montpellier and Melbourne.
Beattie combines turning out as a defender for Arsenal with working as the performance lifestyle lead for the club’s women’s football department and was part of the team that this month played in front of a Women’s Super League record crowd of 54,115 at the Emirates Stadium.
