England switch to Bath for Six Nations preparation

Rather than go back to their usual base of Bisham Abbey, the England rugby squad will move to Bath University's £30m training village.

England will base themselves at Bath University's £30m sports training village for their 2007 RBS Six Nations Championship campaign. The complex replaces Bisham Abbey in Buckinghamshire, which they used during the autumn Test campaign earlier this season. England will stay at the city's Bath Spa Hotel until the Thursday of each Test week.

They have three Six Nations games at Twickenham, starting on February 3 against Scotland, plus trips to Dublin and Cardiff. Bath's sports village includes grass and synthetic pitches, indoor and outdoor athletics tracks, four indoor sports halls, two swimming pools, a sports injury clinic and video analysis facilities.
