The France and Toulouse lock Romain Millo-Chluski has been ruled out of Sunday's Six Nations game against England at Twickenham because of injury and will be replaced by in the squad by the specialist No8 Louis Picamoles.
"Millo-Chluski suffered a recurrence of an Achilles tendon injury against Perpignan on Friday evening," the France team media officer Lionel Rossigneux said on Monday. "He has been ruled out after medical tests and will be replaced by Louis Picamoles."
The withdrawal of Millo-Chluski and the recall of Picamoles leave the French squad with only two locks, Lionel Nallet and Jérôme Thion.
As a result Sébastien Chabal, included in the group as a back-rower for the first time in four games, could revert to the second row, with the coach Marc Lièvremont due to announce his starting line-up on Wednesday.
