France's injury worries have been eased ahead of their Six Nations opener against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday.
Three players – the prop Benoît Lecouls and the second rows Lionel Nallet and Sébastien Chabal – sustained minor injuries on club duty at the weekend. All three reported to Marcoussis yesterday evening for the start of a week's preparation before Saturday's match at Croke Park.
Lecouls appeared to be Marc Lièvremont's biggest concern, but the Toulouse prop has shrugged off a neck injury sustained during his side's defeat by Biarritz.
"I feel hardly anything now. Everything should be OK," he said.
Les Bleus' captain, Nallet, appears to have recovered from a rib injury and the shoulder problem Sale's Chabal suffered during his club's win at Worcester is not serious enough to force him out of contention.
Lièvremont will name his team tomorrow morning.
