New coach Andy Robinson has recalled several stars from England's World Cup-winning squad to the international fold for next month's autumn Test matches with Canada, South Africa and Australia.
Will Greenwood, Ben Kay and Jason Robinson were all named in Robinson's 40-man training squad after Sir Clive Woodward rested them for England's summer trip down under, while Phil Vickery and Lewis Moody both return from lengthy injuries. Robinson has also included centre Henry Paul and Dan Luger in his first squad.
Newcastle scrum-half Hall Charlton and Sale wing Mark Cueto are the two new faces in a squad with an equal blend of youth and experience.
New captain Jonny Wilkinson was also named despite the possibility of missing all three matches with an arm injury and Robinson has included plenty of back-up at number 10 as cover.
Sale's Charlie Hodgson, Ollie Barkley of Bath and Wasps' Alex King have been selected with Hodgson the current favourite to start as fly-half should Wilkinson be ruled out of the three matches at Twickenham.
Richard Hill, Alex Sanderson, Stuart Abbott, Simon Shaw, Tom Palmer, Phil Christophers, David Flatman, Ollie Smith and Mike Worsley were not considered for the squad because of injury.
