Last year Bristol 18 Gloucester 9

Last five matches Bri: LWLWL Glo: WLWLL

Last weekend Bristol lost at Sale in a game of 100 points while Gloucester have shipped over a century in their past two matches. So tomorrow's West Country derby probably won't be dull, especially with Heineken Cup places as well as ancient rivalries at stake. Dean Ryan has named a Bristol squad of 22 that includes the prop Paul Johnstone but his fellow front-rower, the Argentinian Emiliano Bergamaschi, is still missing with a muscle injury.

Gloucester are not quite the same side without the authority of their captain Phil Vickery and the England prop is expected to return after his ankle injury.
