Bath v Leeds
Kick-off 2.15pm today
Venue Recreation Ground
Last year No fixture
Last five matches Bath: LLLLL Leeds: LWWLL
Bath's defeat at Leeds on the first weekend of the campaign set the tone for a dire season for a team that has lost its way. The crass decision to replace their coach Jon Callard shows no signs of reversing Bath's slump and defeat could leave them at the bottom by tomorrow night. Leeds's first-choice second row will be missing - Tom Palmer has a broken leg and Chris Murphy is banned - and Bath's scrum-half Gareth Cooper may return after injury.
Leicester v Newcastle
Kick-off 3pm today
Venue Welford Road
TV Sky Sports 2, 4pm closing stages
Last year Leicester 51 Newcastle 7
Last five matches Leic: WWWWL New: LWLLW
The fact that Newcastle were the last team to win at Welford Road in the Premiership is pretty irrelevant as a form guide. That victory was in December 1997 and the Tigers will be in no mood to let Newcastle delay the capture of their fourth successive league title with Geordan Murphy set to return, though Josh Kronfeld and Ollie Smith are injured.
Northampton v Gloucester
Kick-off 2.30pm today
Venue Franklin's Gardens
TV Sky Sports 2, 2pm
Last year Northampton 34 Gloucester 15
Last five matches North: WLLWW Glos: WWLWL
Gloucester are reeling from their midweek thumping at Wasps and in no state to visit a team in resurgent form since Wayne Smith arrived as coach and blew away the cobwebs this winter. But Phil Vickery returns to the visitors' front row and the Saints' pack has a callow look with Robbie Morris starting at tight-head in place of Matt Stewart and Grant Seely injured.
Sale v Bristol
Kick-off 3pm today
Venue Heywood Road
Last year Sale 25 Bristol 26
Last five matches Sale: WWLWL Bris: LWLLW
Sale's European ambitions should be improved by a win over an inconsistent Bristol side. The Sale coach Jim Mallinder has included his new signing, the Edinburgh prop Barry Stewart, in the squad while Bristol's prop Darren Crompton returns after a 42-day suspension. Two other Bristol front-rows, Paul Johnstone and Emiliano Bergamaschi, are both injured while Lee Best is set for a return after impressing as a substitute in the win over Quins.
London Irish v Harlequins
Kick-off 3pm tomorrow
Venue Madejski Stadium
Last year London Irish 21 Harlequins 16
Last five matches Irish: LWWWW Quins: LLLWL
The Exiles have made a habit of beating Quins since the tenants were evicted from the Stoop and the Premiership's bottom club will surely find no respite at Reading. Paul Burke and Ace Tiatia should be fit for the visitors, who have only one home game remaining. Ireland's Keith Wood yesterday gave the Quins' morale a boost by saying he would stay even if the club were relegated - an increasing possibility.
Saracens v Wasps
Kick-off 3pm tomorrow
Venue Vicarage Road
Last year Saracens 24 Wasps 30
Last five matches Sara: WLLWL Wasps: WLLWW
Wasps' thumping victories over the first- and second-placed clubs in the past fortnight must make them wish the season starts in March but they still have European ambitions. With Phil Greening playing in his first league match since December Wasps look too strong for the struggling Sarries, whose new coach Greg Smith may continue to use his fellow Australian Tim Horan at fly-half. Kenny Logan returns for Wasps.
