Thomas Domingo has been called up to train with the France squad as cover for fellow prop Lionel Faure ahead of this weekend's Six Nations clash against Scotland.
Faure is nursing an injured calf and has not been named in Les Bleus' squad for Saturday's match at the Stade de France. The Sale prop is officially France's '23rd man' but may not be able to fulfil that role if his calf does not heal.
The France coaching staff have drafted in Domingo as cover and the Clermont-Auvergne front-row forward will join up with the squad tomorrow.
Perpignan centre Maxime Mermoz has already arrived at Marcoussis to bolster France's group in view of the summoning of Florian Fritz to a disciplinary hearing in London today. The Toulouse star has been cited for allegedly eye-gouging an unnamed Ireland player during last weekend's match at Croke Park.
Should Fritz be sanctioned, Mermoz will be named on the bench for Saturday, with Benoît Baby promoted into the starting XV.
