And on that note, I’m off. Thanks for reading, emailing and tweeting. Keep an eye on the site for reports and reaction from all the games. See ya!
Full-time! West Brom 2-0 Swansea
And it’s all over at The Hawthorns. Berahino, back in the starting XI, sets up Ideye for the first and scores the second. That is a big win for Tony Pulis’s team. Swansea, despite a shocking run of recent form, remain in ninth.
Full-time! Crystal Palace 1-1 Newcastle
It ends level at Selhurst Park.
Bolasie has been excellent since coming on and he takes on Dummett, but the Newcastle defender comes across to stop him.
Three minutes added on at Selhurst Park but can either side find a winner? It does not look likely at present.

Scottish Premiership full-time: Partick 0-3 Celtic
Celtic scored within a minute and eased to a seventh straight win.
Championship full-time: Nottingham Forest 3-0 Wigan
An easy win for Dougie Freedman’s new team against Wigan, whose situation continues to deteriorate.
Full-time! Manchester United 3-1 Burnley
Smalling’s double from the bench and a Van Persie send United third but Burnley were very impressive at times.
Full-time! Southampton 0-0 West Ham
Ten-man West Ham hold on under a lot of Southampton pressure for what in the circumstances will be a much more satisfying point than the one gained against Manchester United on Sunday.
Full-time! Stoke 1-4 Manchester City
Champions return to winning ways.
Ollie Shenton, a youngster highly rated at Stoke, is about to make his Premier League debut in the final moments the Britannia.

Big chance for Palace. Bolasie plays an intergral part again, crossing from the right towards Zaha. The winger’s shot is heading for goal but Coloccini makes a superb block to keep it at 1-1.
Goal! West Brom 2-0 Swansea (Berahino, 74)
Berahino plays a cute one-two with Ideye and then tucks past Fabianski.

Goal! Crystal Palace 1-1 Newcastle (Campbell, 71)
Bolasie crosses and Campbell converts! I bet Alan Pardew is pleased

Assume they mean not to get one.
1 - Man Utd have been awarded their first penalty of the season in the Premier League. Aston Villa are now the only team to get one. Spot.
— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) February 11, 2015
Goal! Manchester United 3-1 Burnley (Van Persie, 82pen)
Arfield brings down Di Maria with a lazy/tired (delete appropriate) challenge and Kevin Friend has no option but to point to the spot. Van Persie steps up and slots home.

Old Trafford latest
McNair gets booed for passing backwards. United then ping hopeless & intercepted ball forward to the sound of applause.

West Ham have everybody back defending the clean sheet. Southampton pushing but unable to break the 10 men down.
Goal! Stoke 1-4 Manchester City (Nasri, 76)
Game. Over. Nasri, who has looked really good tonight, finishes from outside the area with his right boot having been fed by Edin Dzeko.
Updated
Goal! West Brom 1-0 Swansea (Ideye, 60)
And just as after saying the game at The Hawthorns is producing little action, Brown Ideye fires into the bottom left corner to break the deadlock.
Updated
Sergio Agüero has scored two but he’s now limped off with an injury. Edin Dzeko is on in his place.
Southampton are well on top at St Mary’s but Pellè has just fired a good chance over. He hasn’t scored in his last seven games. It’s also scoreless at The Hawthorns where the ball seems stuck in midfield and chances are as regular as an Aston Villa goal during the reign of Paul Lambert.
Goal! Stoke 1-3 Manchester City (Agüero 70pen)
A two goal cushion for the visitors as Agüero strikes from the spot after Geoff Cameron took down David Silva.

Championship update: Game set and match at the City Ground as Henri Lansbury curls a beauty in to make it 3-0 against Wigan.
Jaaskelainen has come on for 10-man West Ham, Carlton Cole is the one to be sacrificed. The keeper’s first task is to defend the free-kick conceded by Adrian for the sending off but the wall does its job and Southampton have a corner.
A fair point. Milner was lucky that was not spotted by Lee Mason.
@alansmith90 Is this where I can grump that Milner should have been sent off for the handball earlier in the game?
— STOKECITY USA (@josher71) February 11, 2015
Red card at St Mary’s! West Ham goalkeeper Adrian sees red for handling the ball outside the area under pressure from Sadio Mane.

James Milner: Has scored 4 times as many goals (4) in all competitions in 2015 as any other Manchester City player (6 players with 1 goal)

Goal! Stoke 1-2 Manchester City (Milner, 56)
This is lovely from City and particular Samir Nasri, who sends a tasty cross in towards James Milner. The Man City Mr Dependable powers a header past Asmir Begovic to put the champions in front.
Updated
Championship update: Nottingham Forest have made it 2-0 against Wigan thanks to Chris Burke, having been set up by Michail Antonio.
West Ham’s Carlton Cole has been booked at St Mary’s for booting Maya Yoshida in the face.
Ings goes close to scoring his second equaliser. He steadies himself six yards out, shoots. But De Gea saves. And the striker sends the rebound over the bar. Some abysmal marking from United’s defence again afforded Ings the opportunity in the first place.
We have restarted in the three 7.45pm games.

Half-times
Crystal Palace 0-1 Newcastle
West Brom 0-0 Swansea
I know you’re trying to watch lots of games at the same time... but can you give us an idea of the latest van Gaal team shape? Even with Smalling replacing injured Jones, there appear to be four centre backs and there are three centre forwards, asks Colum Farrelly
It looks like four at the back with McNair on the right side of defence and Rojo on the left. Rooney is in midfield and the Falcao/Van Persie partnership remains uneffective.
Goal! Crystal Palace 0-1 Newcastle (Cisse, 43)
Janmaat zooms down the right, sends a delightful cross in and Cisse heads home from six yards. Alan Pardew’s John Carver’s Newcastle are in front.
Updated
It remains scoreless at The Hawthorns, so West Bromwich Albion fans are keeping warm with some banter, singing ‘Justice for Lambert’.

Owen Coe is the prizeless competition winner, getting in just before Sean Bell also emailed the correct answer.
Alan Shearer has scored 46 headed goals in the Premier League.
A couple of you have excitedly emailed to say Shearer has one more than Crouch – take a look at 20.35! You are not funny.

Fraizer Campbell has the ball in the net at Selhurst Park after heading in a Jason Puncheon cross but the flag is up for offside.
With Crouch scoring from another header i think he is getting close to having scored the most with his head in the Premier League. Able to clarify this? (If I remember correctly Shearer still had the most and possibly Dublin more as well), asks Christian Larsson
Crouch is now one behind Shearer’s headed goal record. Prize of having your name in the clockwatch for anybody who can guess how many Shearer scored.

Goal! Manchester United 2-1 Burnley (Smalling, 45+3)
For all their dominance, Burnley are punished on the stroke of half-time and it’s the substitute who scores again from another corner three minutes into added time.

Man City have scored but it’s disallowed for an Agüero handball. The striker is booked for doing a Maradona. Great spot from the linesman who raises his flag instantly.

Who do you think is on top at Old Trafford?
Burnley reach double figures for shots. United haven't had one since Smalling's goal.

Valid point from Peter Oh
Hi Alan,
How can the Burnley players even see each other in those grey kits? They are practically invisible!
Hat tip to Justin Kavanagh via email for this …
RE: First-team coach Scott Marshall and goalkeeping coach Andy Marshall will continue to prepare the squad for Sunday’s FA Cup tie with Leicester City at Villa Park.
So Marshall law has been imposed at Villa?
Shock at Old Trafford – Ander Herrera is on the pitch. Yes, Herrera is on the pitch. Blind’s head injury has forced him off. Bizarrely, Wayne Rooney now appears to be playing a holding role and Herrera has moved onto the right side of the United midfield.
Goal! Stoke 1-1 Manchester City (Crouch, 38)
Peter Crouch has put the Potters back on level terms and when you consider the opportunities they have created, it is well deserved. Marko Arnautovic crosses beautiful, it beats Kompany and Crouch heads home.

In Scotland, Celtic have doubled their lead. Stuart Armstrong has scored the second on his debut at Partick.
Joe Ledley has Crystal Palace’s first notable chance, heading a free-kick over from six yards.
Fernandinho flies down the right, cuts in at the edge of the box and then hits dismal pass towards Nasri when Agüero was free in the area. His team-mates are unhappy, much huffing and puffing has ensued.
Blind is back on at Old Trafford.
Florin Gardos has gone close for Southampton at St Mary’s, while West Brom look slightly the better against Swansea 12 minutes in at The Hawthorns but both remain scoreless.

Man United are down to 10 men temporarily, Daley Blind currently off getting treatment for a nasty looking facial injury.
Newcastle have a corner at Selhurst Park but it is cleared by Yaya Sanogo.

Peter Crouch has the ball in the net for Stoke … but the flag is correctly up for offside! Moses had crossed after making his way past Zabaleta.

Good chance for Stoke as Victor Moses has a shot from range which Joe Hart parries nervously for a corner.
22 - Chris Smalling scored 22 secs after coming on. Only Sammy Ameobi (8 secs vs Spurs) has scored a faster PL sub goal this season. Impact.

Penalty shout at the Brittania! James Milner has blatantly handled the ball in the area but Lee Mason, the referee, does not give Stoke a penalty despite it being as clearcut as they come. Peter Crouch had shot and Milner’s saved it from going in.
Goal! Manchester United 1-0 Burnley (Smalling, 6)
Chris Smalling is on for Jones who appears to have a touch of ankle knack sustained when defending that corner which Keane headed wide and with his first touch Smalling heads home from close range.

Burnley have started promisingly at Old Trafford. Phil Jones sloppily concedes a corner and Michael Keane, the centre-half who left United to join Sean Dyche’s team permanently after a loan spell in January, heads it wide from about four yards. You have to finish them!

We are underway in the three 7.45pm kick-offs. Can Burnley produce a shock at Old Trafford? Can Stoke do Chelsea another favour by beating Manchester City? And will Southampton maintain their Champions League push with a win over Sophisticated Sam’s West Ham?
An email from Ian Copestake, who has made me slightly paranoid.
Evening Alan, I’d like to take issue with your percentages (see 7.30pm) but I’m more of a book person so I can’t.
I’ve checked and it appears one sixth is indeed 16.67%.
Anyway, let’s all move on. Alan Pardew’s programme notes make for interesting reading.

Greetings!
Five games but only one set of eyes to keep track of them all. Inevitably, there will be goals, goals, goals. Fasten your seat belts.
One paragraph previews
Manchester United v Burnley: The division’s two long-ball specialists – United’s 1,861 is only bettered by the 1,877 played by Sean Dyche’s team – do battle in a game where there should only be one winner. United have won six of their past seven at home in the league, while Burnley have shipped two or more goals in eight of their past nine outings.
Southampton v West Ham: A big game for both sides. For all that Southampton have impressed, a defeat by two goals or more could see them drop out of the top four. Victory for West Ham would see their push for a European place strengthened considerably, though they could easily fall into mid table mediocrity. They have not won at Southampton since 2000 but this game promises plenty.
Stoke v Manchester City: Winless since the first day of 2015, Manuel Pellegrini could badly do with a win, especially if Chelsea do the business against Everton, but the omens are not good. Six of Man City’s past seven visits to the Britannia have been draws, while Stoke will be looking to do the double over the champions having produced a stunning smash and grab at the Etihad earlier in the season courtesy of Mame Biram Diouf.
8pm kick-offs
Crystal Palace v Newcastle: How can Alan Pardew use his inside knowledge to manufacture a win over the club he dumped to move to Selhurst Park? And will John Carver be able to predict the approach of the man he was assistant to at St James’ Park? Both sides are secure from the table’s nether regions and too far off remotely bothering those fighting for the Europa League, meaning much of the focus will be on the dugouts.
West Bromwich Albion v Swansea: Last in alphabetical order and from the neutral observer’s point of view probably least attention grabbing. There should not be much to separate an improving West Bromwich Albion under Tony Pulis who still teeter perilously above the relegation places and a Swansea team who are clinging on to a place in the top half despite enjoying a solitary win in six. A tight, low-scoring draw, anyone?
Team news to follow in the next few moments. And feel free to email or tweet your thoughts on any of tonight’s games. Let’s get it on!
