Full story on the FA Cup fifth round draw

That’s it from the FA Cup fifth round draw. If you’d like to catch up on how Everton knocked out Carlisle earlier today you can do so here. And Dominic Fifield’s match report from Chelsea’s big win against MK Dons has just landed too:

Thanks for reading. Bye!

Now then. Man City’s trip to Stamford Bridge is the standout tie with two Premier League big hitters going toe-to-toe. Arsenal, the holders, play the Championship leaders Hull City, who met in the 2014 final. Shrewsbury have a day to look forward to when Wayne Rooney and company come to town while Tottenham against Palace is another to get excited about, two teams playing good football in the Premier League this season.

The ties will take place between 19-22 February.

Never has a photo and a caption been at greater loggerheads.

Peterborough United, also in the third tier, will have to get past a fourth-round replay with West Brom before they can start dreaming of bigger things.

“I’ll be keeping an eye on Leeds United,” emails Ezra Finkelstein. “Hopefully we can get a top premier league team, to make it a David vs Goliath clash.” Leeds hosting Man Utd is always good fun. There are plenty of potential derbies in that list too – Merseyside, Manchester, and most corners of London.

Everton and Chelsea were too good for their respective lower-league opposition today, which makes the fifth round draw read like a list of Premier League clubs new and old. Shrewsbury Town, currently 20th in League One, are the obvious outliers looking for a big away trip having knocked out Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday with a dramatic late winner.

Hello there, FA Cup fans. Which balls have you got your eye on?
