Professional fouls are one thing, but being taken out as you run back from the coin toss is a whole different ball game.
It happened to the Bate Borisov captain Dzmitry Likhtarovich, who had just settled on which end to play from when he was sent flying by an over-enthusiastic cheerleader.
The referee declined to take action, the game went ahead as planned and Bate won their match against Gomel in the Belarusian Premier League 2-0.
Presumably as the officials saw the incident the Belarusian FA will be taking no retrospective action against the cheerleader.
