November 2: Rugby union preview

Harlequins v Bath

Kick-off 2pm today

Venue The Stoop

TV Sky Sports 2, 1.30pm

Last year Harlequins 15 Bath 8

Last five matches (most recent result on right) Quins: LLWLW Bath: DLDLL

Andre Vos makes his debut for Quins after a couple of training sessions and barely 72 hours after arriving from South Africa, while Will Greenwood will play at fly-half in the continued absence of Paul Burke. Quins are as inconsistent as ever, but they should still beat Bath, the lowest scorers in the division.

Gloucester v Northampton

Kick-off 3pm today

Venue Kingsholm

Last year Gloucester 22 Northampton 9

Last five matches Gloucester: WWDWL Northampton: WWLWW

This is a crucial day for the leaders Gloucester. After their first defeat of the season at Wasps they will soon have Leicester breathing down their necks. Adam Eustace is including in their second row despite his dismissal last Saturday and the RFU disciplinary hearing that he faces next Thursday.

Leicester v Wasps

Kick-off 3pm today

Venue Welford Road

Last year Leicester 45 Wasps 15

Last five matches Leicester: LWLWW Wasps: DWWLW

The real Leicester stood up last Sunday at Saracens and they remain untouchable here. Wasps have never won at Welford Road in the league and without first-choice half-backs Rob Howley and Alex King their task looks hopeless. Wasps were impressive last week but there are a lot of Tigers forwards keen to nail down spots in the England team.

Newcastle v London Irish

Kick-off 2.30pm tomorrow

Venue Kingston Park

Last year Newcastle 33 London Irish 28

Last five matches Newcastle: LLWLW Irish: WLLLL

Nick Kennedy, a 21-year-old academy player, is given a debut in the second row for an Exiles side struggling to find any kind of form. Newcastle themselves have stuttered this season but their European wins over Grenoble have revitalised Rob Andrew's team who are still difficult to beat at home while Jonny Wilkinson has been in supreme form. Newcastle should win with something to spare.

Leeds v Saracens

Kick-off 2.30pm tomorrow

Venue Headingley

Last year Leeds 27 Saracens 14

Last five matches Leeds: WDLWW Saracens: LLWLL

The Tykes' early-season form shows no signs of petering out and Phil Davies allows himself the luxury of an unchanged side after the win at Bath. Saracens badly need a victory after four reverses in five but big-name players are returning after injuries, including Tim Horan, pictured, at centre, and Dave Flatman and Christian Califano in the front row. No8 Ben Russell replaces Tony Rocques in the back row. Ian Malin
