Martin Corry headed a clean sweep by Leicester at last night's Zurich Premiership awards ceremony.
The Tigers and England No8 was named player of the season while his club colleague Ollie Smith won the discovery of the season award. Leicester's coach John Wells was also celebrating, walking off with the honours in the O2 director of rugby category.
It was also a special night for another Tiger, England's retiring World Cup captain Martin Johnson claiming the Zurich Champion Award following his "significant and long-lasting contribution" to rugby union.
Northampton's Bruce Reihana received the try of the season award for his score against Bath last September.
Harlequins will next week say which players they are releasing following their relegation. Bath have been linked to the wings Ugo Monye and George Harder, having already signed the club's reserve fly-half Andy Dunne.
Gloucester have re-signed the outside-half Ludovic Mercier from Pau and the Northampton prop Tom Smith yesterday announced his retirement from international rugby.
