Claudio Ranieri on facing Chelsea:
"I can't say that I'm happy, but it's a beautiful tie, a fascinating one and we will have to be in top form. Chelsea is a team that is constructed to win the Champions League and for Abramovich not to win it, it would be a disaster. For our part, we will try to stop Chelsea from reaching the top of the world which is where Abramovich has programmed them to arrive to.
"It's a difficult but a stimulating tie for us but I don't think they will be happy to be facing us."
"You cannot forget four years at a club. I don't think Chelsea forget either."
Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco on facing Chelsea:
"We have a feeling of respect for Chelsea but we are not afraid to play against them. Since Claudio Ranieri left Chelsea many players have changed but many of them are still playing for Chelsea, so he knows them better than everybody else. I think that for him it will be a special game for sure."
Chelsea secretary David Barnard on facing Juventus:
"It brings back Claudio Ranieri to the Bridge and I am sure he will get a good reception from the Chelsea supporters. We will have learned from the events in Rome [losing to Roma in the group stage] and I am sure that won't happen a second time. The next step is to actually win the competition. I think everyone down from the management to the players, are geared up and determined this year."
Sir Alex Ferguson on facing Internazionale:
"It will be interesting to come up against Jose again. He is a character with a good personality and I have always got on well with him. He knocked us out of the competition when he was at Porto, so I hope we have the luck they had in that tie this time around.
"They [Inter] have had a tremendous domestic record in recent years. They have also got a lot of experience in their team which includes quite a few South American players. In fact I think they have only got two Italians in their team. That in itself represents a tough challenge because you know that South American players defensively are always very tough and resilient players.
"Hopefully we can do the job there in the first game and give ourselves a platform to take back to Old Trafford. The San Siro is a great stadium to play in. We've lost two semi-finals to AC Milan there so we want to go there and do better.
"This is the stage when the competition gets going and I think all the English teams have a good chance. I'm happy with our draw."
Jose Mourinho on facing Manchester United:
"This is fantastic for us because it means we will be playing against the best, they [United] are the best, they are the champions and I think they will win World Club Cup too.
"We lost motivation during the group stage, because we thought it was going to be easy, but it was not. This job against Manchester United is an easy job for me because I know the players will be full of desire to play, it will not be difficult for me to get them focused."
Inter director Ernesto Paolillo on facing Manchester United:
"Mourinho told me yesterday that he wanted Manchester United, and I think he's right. Against Manchester United we can find the right motivation and the right concentration to play a very good game. Mourinho is experienced in English football, and he knows United very well."
Arsenal's major shareholder, Danny Fiszman, on facing Roma:
"I think it is a good draw for us. We have stayed away from the favourite of the moment and we have also stayed away from Panathinaikos, which meant a long trip.
"We have a good record against Roma, we are pleased with the draw.I think it is the old cliche, there isn't an easy game, but it is an exciting draw, exciting for the fans.
"Our fans will have the chance to go to Rome and hopefully we will do it twice."
Fabio Capello on the draw:
"The Champions League draw has been diabolical. I didn't expect the three Italians teams to be drawn with English teams. But they are games that will bring numerous suggestions and impossible predictions.
"It will be difficult for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United but it will be equally difficult for Roma, Juve and Inter."
