The Italy coach, Nick Mallett, has called up the uncapped Franco Sbaraglini to replace the injured Fabio Ongaro for Saturday's Six Nations game against Scotland. Ongaro was hurt in yesterday's training session in Rome and the Italian Rugby Federation confirmed the player has been ruled out for the match at Murrayfield.
The Saracens hooker started in the Azzurri's defeats to England and Ireland, but had been dropped to the bench by Mallett for Saturday's game. The Benetton Treviso hooker Sbaraglini will take Ongaro's place on the bench.
