Our results against Hull and Arsenal have cemented the excellent work of Zola and Clark in recent weeks. We have a pattern of play that works and a system where the players all know what is required of them. Until recently, our performances didn't get the results they merited, but gladly that is no longer the case. The Hull result would've been a cricket score but for a combination of the woodwork and Matt Duke in goal – our best display for a few years. Our eight-game unbeaten run faces it's biggest test against Manchester United, who are the other form team in the country at present (strange to be able to write that). We'll need to try and contain their attacking threat and then look to test Vidic and Co – admittedly far easier said than done.
Due a big game: Carlton Cole – Brilliant lately, our chances depend on him getting the better of Vidic.

The Man United Mean Machine rolls in to Upton Park looking for a 13th consecutive clean sheet and to be honest I can't see us not winning there. We have been on a real roll with seven consecutive league wins and the doubters who thought our trip to Japan would blow up in our faces have been left looking silly. West Ham away has always been a difficult game with the Hammers raising the game for the arrival of the champions, but with several of our players hitting form and hopefully the return of Evra and Rooney we will be in great shape for a busy couple of months chasing silverware on four fronts. Zola has done well with West Ham as it looked they were going to struggle when he first joined but he will have probably resigned himself to dropping points against today.
Due a big game: Ronaldo – He is slowly returning to form and getting amongst the goals.
