The Sale Sharks back row Luke Abraham has been banned for eight weeks after pleading guilty to headbutting an opponent.

It was the second time Abraham has been cited for a headbutt in just over two months.

The Sale back-row forward Chris Jones was banned for one week for a stamping offence in the same match as Abraham's second citing, against Saracens on 1 March.
