Everton's attempt to claim a first league win of the season when Manchester United visit Goodison Park on Saturday could be hindered by injuries to Louis Saha and Jack Rodwell.

Saha limped off only 10 minutes into his international comeback for France against Belarus in Paris on Friday with a knee problem.

Rodwell suffered an ankle injury in the recent Premier League defeat at Aston Villa that prompted his withdrawal from England Under-21 duty.

Everton have yet to discover the extent of both injury problems but the pair are major doubts for the United game.
