For the first time in four visits to Old Trafford, Wolves' manager Mick McCarthy will play his first-choice side. Twice, he changed personnel for the Carling Cup and was rewarded with narrow defeats. Last season he made 10 changes in order to prioritise a game against Burnley and was given a suspended £25,000 fine that still rankles. It is, however, 30 years since Wolves gained so much as a point at Manchester United, who are likely to have Darren Fletcher back from an ankle injury, although Nani and Ryan Giggs are rested ahead of Wednesday's Manchester derby.
