Heineken Cup pools announced

The pools for next season's Heineken Cup have been confirmed.

Holders Leinster have been drawn in Pool 3, alongside Bath, Glasgow and Montpellier, while Northampton, last season's beaten finalists, are in Pool 1, alongside Munster, Scarlets and Castres.

The dates for all matches have yet to be announced.

Pool 1 Munster, Northampton, Scarlets, Castres

Pool 2 Cardiff, London Irish, Edinburgh, Racing Métro

Pool 3 Leinster, Bath, Glasgow, Montpellier

Pool 4 Leicester, Clermont, Ulster, Aironi

Pool 5 Biarritz, Ospreys, Saracens, Treviso

Pool 6 Toulouse, Harlequins, Gloucester, Connacht
