Bath v Sale
Saturday, 2.15pm, Recreation Ground
There is a whiff of crisis at Sale, four defeats leaving them at the bottom of the Premiership and this will not be easy with Bath looking to give Olly Barkley a happy send-off in his final game before his move to Racing Metro. Barkley is given the No10 shirt with Stephen Donald moving to inside-centre. Danny Cipriani is on the bench for the Sharks, who prefer Nick Macleod at fly-half.
Match pointers Sale have made their poorest start since leagues began 25 years ago … Bath lost both Premiership games against the Sharks last season.
Leicester v Exeter
Saturday, 2.15pm, Welford Road, ESPN
Leicester's home defeat by Harlequins was a sobering one and the New Zealander Dan Bowden makes a first start at inside-centre to try and cure a bit of a try drought among the Tigers. Thomas Waldrom returns at No8 with Jordan Crane moving to blindside flanker. Tom Johnson replaces injured James Phillips in the Chiefs' back row.
Match pointers The Chiefs did the double over Leicester last season …
Leicester have not scored a try for 166 minutes.
Harlequins v Saracens
Sunday, 2pm, The Stoop, Sky Sports 1
Harlequins have made a perfect start and on Sunday will see an interesting sub-plot with Mike Brown of Quins and Saracens' Alex Goode, candidates to be England full-back this autumn, going head to head. Tom Guest returns to the champions' back row while Joel Tomkins and Richard Wigglesworth return for Saracens.
Match pointers Quins have not lost in the Premiership at The Stoop since May 2011 … Saracens have won on four of their past five visits to The Stoop.
London Welsh v Gloucester
Sunday, 3pm, Kassam Stadium
London Welsh's unexpected triumph at Sale last Friday has confounded the sceptics who thought they would be cannon fodder in the Premiership and Gloucester, who have Mike Tindall back in their midfield, will journey down the M40 with plenty to ponder. Seb Jewell is at full-back for the Exiles and Tom Arscott moves to the wing.
Match pointers Gloucester won the last time the clubs met competitively in January 1998 … Welsh have won their past two matches.
