Manchester United face a tricky trip to face Cambridge United in the FA Cup fourth round after Monday night’s draw. After beating Yeovil – the bottom team in League One – on Sunday, Louis van Gaal’s side have been paired with lower league opposition again. Cambridge, who are 14th in League Two and are the lowest – ranked side left in the competition.
Promoted last season via the Conference play-offs, Richard Money’s side reached the fourth round for the first time in 15 years with victory over Luton Town. “It’s going to be a fantastic challenge,” Money told BBC Cambridgeshire. “At this moment our lads are going to be so excited.” The club’s chairman, Dave Doggett, said: “I’m over the moon. It’s great for the club, great for the city and great for football.”
The holders Arsenal will travel to Brighton after beating Hull, with Liverpool, the winners of Monday night’s tie at AFC Wimbledon, handed a home game against Bolton. Chelsea, the Premier League’s joint leaders, will face the winners of the replay between Millwall and Bradford, with Manchester City at home against Middlesbrough.
Rochdale’s reward for beating Championship side Nottingham Forest in the last round is a home tie with Stoke, while League One sides Preston and Sheffield United will face each other.
