This weekend’s Premiership games

November 23: Northampton v Harlequins | Bath v Bristol | Gloucester v Leeds | London Irish v Leicester | Saracens v Newcastle | Wasps v Sale

Northampton v Harlequins

Kick-off 12pm today

Venue Franklin's Gardens

Last year Northampton 13 Harlequins 13

Last five matches North: WWLLL Quins: LWWLW

Northampton, with three defeats in a row, have been hit hard by international call-ups in the past fortnight and Chris Hyndman lines up alongside John Leslie in their centre. Quins give a debut to another three-quarter, the 19-year-old Andy Reay.

Bath v Bristol

Kick-off 2.15pm tomorrow

Venue Recreation Ground

Last year Bath 15 Bristol 9

Last five matches Bristol: WLLWW Bath: LLLWW

Bath have had something of a revival of late but Mike Catt's hamstring injury continues to dog the fly-half. Chris Malone deputises in the West Country derby and England's Mike Tindall and Danny Grewcock may be on the bench. David Rees is expected to replace Bristol's England wing Phil Christophers.

Gloucester v Leeds

Kick-off 2.30pm tomorrow

Venue Kingsholm

TV Sky Sports 2, 2pm

Last year Gloucester 58 Leeds 17

Last five matches Gloc: WLWWL Leeds: WWWDW

First meets second but the leaders Gloucester are smarting from their defeat at Leicester nine days ago and Marcel Garvey, injured at Welford Road, will not play. Tom Beim is a likely deputy. Leeds, beaten only once, give fitness tests to the back-rows Isaac Feaunati and Dan Hyde this morning.

London Irish v Leicester

Kick-off 3pm tomorrow

Venue Madejski Stadium

Last year L Irish 15 Leicester 30

Last five matches Irish: LLWLL Leic: WWWWW

The Exiles, who have slipped to the bottom of the Premiership, name the squad that lost at Bristol. Leicester, with five victories in a row and flexing their considerable muscle, will give Peter Short a run in the pack.

Saracens v Newcastle

Kick-off 3pm tomorrow

Venue Vicarage Road

Last year Saracens 19 Newcastle 24

Last five matches Sara: LLLWL Newc: LWLLL

Ben Johnston's return to the Saracens backline is a welcome boost for their long-suffering supporters but they should record a win against a Falcons side who are suffering an indifferent season and will be without Richard Arnold and Mark Wilkinson.

Wasps v Sale

Kick-off 3pm tomorrow

Venue Adams Park

Last year Wasps 21 Sale 40

Last five matches Wasps: LWLDL Sale: LLWLW

Lawrence Dallaglio will make an appearance for Wasps, provided he recovers from any contribution he may make at Twickenham today. Sale are unchanged from the side that beat Saracens but have still not won away, and Wasps are unbeaten in Wycombe.
